
Norway contracted with EOC to build several Coastal Defense Ships and other, smaller warships during the 1890s-1900s. These and other ships were armed with EOC weapons. For the 21 cm/44, Pattern A armed the gunboat Aeger, Pattern B armed the Coastal Defense Ships of the Tordenskjold class and Pattern C armed the Coastal Defense Ships of the Norge class. Actual bore diameter of these weapons was 20.9 cm (8.2").
